SAN FRANCISCO - (Business Wire) Diamond Foods, Inc. (NASDAQ:DMND), announced today that it will unleash a new commercial during the telecast of Super Bowl XLIV, airing on February 7, 2010 on CBS.

Diamond Foods has an appetite for funny, memorable and entertaining advertising. The company has received critical acclaim landing in many top 10 Super Bowl ad rankings for its previous ads. In 2007, its Emerald brand "3pm Natural Energy" commercial featuring Robert Goulet was ranked the #1 advertising spot of the Super Bowl by Advertising Age’s ad critic Bob Garfield.
