Only one member of the Dolphins was named to the Pro Bowl, but at least Jake Long was expected to represent Miami as a starter when the game is played Jan. 31 at Dolphin Stadium.

Now, Long is out. The Dolphins announced Friday that he would not play because of an unspecified injury.

The Dolphins will host the game for the first time since 1975 — the game has been played in Honolulu since 1980 — and still could have a representative in case of another injury or to replace a member of the AFC team that makes the Feb. 7 Super Bowl.
