Madonna Set to Perform on Halftime Show on Super Bowl XLVI Indianapolis

The ever so popular Madonna will be performing during the halftime time show this coming Super Bowl XLVI to be held in Indianapolis. Madonna sold over 300 million records since she launched her first album in 1983.

NBC and NFL announced December 4 that this sexy show stopper will grace the Lucas Oil Stadium this February 5, 2012. The Super Bowl is the most watched sports event in the United States not only because of its thrilling football matches but because of the big production performances of some of the top entertainers in the country.

During the Super Bowl in Dallas last year, over 162 million people in the US are glued to their television to watch the group Black Eyed Peasperform with R and B star Usher and Dallas during the halftime show. Some of the world class entertainers who set record breaking performances during the Super Bowl are Paul McCartney, U2, Prince, The E Street Band, Bruce Springsteen, Rolling Stones and The Who.

This must-see halftime performance will be a collaboration of top class choreographer, artists and dancers. Madonna is set to work with Jamie King, Cirque du Soleil and Moment Factory. Meanwhile, Madonna is working on her newest studio album. On top of that, she will also launch the movie “W.E.” which she produced, directed and wrote. The movie will be shown just 2 days before the Super Bowl XLVI. The Super Bowl is supported by Bridgestone Americas and will be broadcasted around the globe via NBC.
